I bought these as gym shorts for my daughter. They're comfortable (my daughter wants a pair for home) and durable--she's been wearing them for half a year and I see no snags, holes in seams or general wear at all. They do run a little small, she was in a girls size 12 jean when I bought these and she fit in the adult small very comfortably though there was little difference between that size and youth large.
