Review of adidas Women's Gazelle Short

adidas Women's Gazelle ShortI've been searching around for some "bottoms" for the gym for a while now.I need something cool for summer and was hoping to get away from my worn out spandex. These shorts are pretty great.

As far as function goes, they are very comfortable and cool.My workout includes jumping rope, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and sparring (amongst other things). These shorts don't bind or anything else like that.Basically, I don't think about them while I'm working out.Which is exactly as it should be, in my book. Also, the waistband is enough elastic to stay up; but well-constructed and not too tight so it doesn't pinch in.

I marked a star off for aesthetics. In the way of gear from the big sports brand names, these kind of have too many stripes and materials going in too many directions for my taste. Also, the red color is a bit off on the pinker end of the spectrum than I expected. And, at the waist in the back they pucker a little oddly. This pucker is not something you feel wearing them, so I don't care; but, it's points off if you care how they look.

Aesthetics aside, though, I really like these shorts. After trying out one pair, I bought three more so I can wear them every day I work out.
