I just ran a Half Iron man in these shorts.Although they are fairly new with only two washings, they withstood a 1.2 mile swim, 58 mile bike and 13.1 mile run in rain, and I had absolutely no chafing or rubbing.The bike pad was just big enough to protect, but not so big to be noticable in the run.
